I used to rebuild those Repco/PBR boosters, usually they crack in the rear half of the shell, often due to being subject to significant heat.

I still have spare shells and other parts here.

I am not going to watch the whole video because i have hit 3 ads in the first few minutes, and i see there is still 3/4 of a video left.

yep, it is frustrating, but some of it comes down to content creators thinking we owe them a living because they chose to upload the videos... i wouldn't really consider that to be the case here though.

I went through 3 plastic boosters and then found a steel one. I feel like a bit more stopping power.

https://www.zip-corvette.com/84-91-p...ter-steel.html

I see the steel are harder to find probably because they don't break as often. I bought mine from pep boys 3 years ago and they had more of a selection then.
Steel is better by far.

There are a number of ad blockers you can use to help if you're a little tech savvy. For the ads that are mid video, lately I fast forward to the end and then hit the replay button. Usually the video will replay ad free.

On the adblocking front I build PC's and watch sports on some of the channels. If you use this DISSENTER browser
https://dissenter.com/
It has auto ad block and I did not have those dumb ads I saw when I played it in IE. It will import your faves and it is kinda cool with the clock. The dissenter sheild
is auto on and will block alot of the bull. Very good backup at the least. You can always uninstall from control panel/uninstall program.Good Luck!

Actually it's pays that creator of the video a bit and youtube mostly. The creator can activate ads once they hit 1000 subs and 4000 continuous hours watched, at 838 myself atm. Once they monetize they can choose to turn it on for each video and the ads types and maybe placement, not positive since I've not reached 1k yet but I plan to turn it on for some of my popular videos at least. Not to mention there are plenty of other way to make $$$ on youtube. I myself could care less bout being famous, my father was kinda on the local level and I avoided it BUT if it offset my cost of finishing my projects and I enjoy doing it then I'll keep making videos

Longer videos = more ads, youtube made the rules and actually not long ago mocked their own creators for making long videos LOL Mine end up what they need to be and if people don't like it they don't gotta watch, after all it's free!

edit: FYI here is a tip you can turn the playspeed up to 2x if you can still understand it

Yes I know. There are some making a good living now on there putting out garbage. And some good content. Like everything it will crash. The biased censorship will be partly to blame.....

Not with those in control now and how they are changing things. Choices and competition will be limited as some get ever more of a monopoly and influence.
