I got a brand new set in my garage. Free! It came in with the new windshield the insurance Co paied for. The new one kept cracking, so I am making them wait, to install till after the new engine is in..
I am with Mr. Mojo. What I found while buying replacement weatherstripping was:
After market weatherstripping sometimes is very hard and you do not get a good seal with it. OEM is soft and seals great.
I had the windshield replaced on my 1992 Coupe a couple of months ago. They used a after market front weatherstripping and it did not seal very well at all. I called them and told them to get the real GM, in a box weatherstripping and come back and fix the problem with the sealing. It took them 2 weeks, but they came back and replaced the after market one with a GM one. No more leaks.
Just my 2 cents. :flag
Cool, just ordered the header weatherstrip, they were alot cheaper than everone else, and as long as it will stop the leaking I'll be happy. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.
I ordered the rear header weatherstrip several months ago. The front wasn't available then but they called me when it came in and I received it today
It is soft and pliable but we'll have to wait to see how it fits and seals.
well... i only bought the roof rails and the rear hatch seal. the roof rails look good in quality and they have a 30yr mfg replacement warranty... the hatch is a no name brand but looks pretty soft to me. it hasn't rained yet so i'll have to keep ya posted on the leaks....
