What does this attach to? 94-96 fuel regulator

Any idea what the fuel regulator bracket is supposed to attach to?

Let me know if im missing a part or have a wrong part or something,

how does the fuel regulator stay attached to the fuel rail - on the 94-96 style setups

As indicated within the diagram you are missing clip and bolt #20 and #16. I was also missing these parts and was able to get them on this forum. I started making the clip. I may still have it if you need it.

i almost threw it away.

I cant say the fit of the regulator against that bracket is as tight as I thought it would be

I also dont like how the 94-96 regulator fuel return pipe has a cheap ‘clip’ to secure it in place vs. the 92-93 that has a ‘nut’ securing the return pipe

ive shown both in the photo.(you cant see my hand, but you can see the 92-93 fuel regulator return pipe, and nut - in the upper right of the photo).
