Probe Kit for Multimeter I picked up this. The tinny needle probes work great for sliding in between the wires and the seals on the back of connectors. This allows you to "back probe" the signals without needing a jumper harness or damaging the wires. It works great for testing signals like this.

@kgrover.. ah.. well then, that is a nice probe kit, though I already ordered the test harness. Think I am all set for now, though I may order that kit at some point. That is nice to have on hand for $11. Thank you for sending that Amazon link!
