4+3 transmission pan number tag?
Does anyone know what the little aluminum metal tag is for with a number on it # (4J09951) that is held on under one of the pan attaching bolts? I took mine off as I had a fluid leak at that bolt. The bolt there was a little loose. I then snugged up the bolts hoping the drip will stop. Is it a serial number for the Doug Nash transmission?
