Default Radio Help: Which wire for dimmable illumination?

I'm replacing my aftermarket stereo with a better one.

I have all the connections figured out except one: dimmable illumination.

The new one (an Alpine) uses an orange wire exiting its connector for that feature. I've looked over the factory service manual completely and for the life of me I can't find which wire coming into the radio connectors performs that function.

In fact, the connectors themselves don't seem to appear in the the factory service manual at all.

Car is a 1985 that originally had the Bose system.
