Default 1985 C4 EGR Valve Replacement

I'm replacing my EGR Valve and sourcing where/what to buy and I keep running into this reoccurring issue. I've looked at Oreilly's, Autozone, AAP, partsgeek, rockauto etc it's always the same. The issue is, when I look in the description of the item, it always says it's for Manual transmission. I say, okay then I better get an EGR Valve for Automatic since mine is an automatic but then when I look at the Automatic one, it looks slightly different whereas the Manual one looks like an exact match. Here's what I mean:

These are all under MANUAL transmission.

This one is defined as an AUTOMATIC transmission EGR Valve. It also says "Canada version" in the description as well?

Here's a few pics of mine:

As you can see, it's clear that the Manual transmission version is a match. But I have automatic transmission... why is it so different? The Automatic transmission one has a bent vacuum port, different shape on the upper part, different hole for the sensor to screw into and the color is different as well. Can anyone explain to me why there's even a difference at all? I've been really confused on it

When you say it doesn't match, are you speaking of the location of the vacuum port?

Yeah the vacuum ports are different, the shape of the top part is different, the hole that the sensor screws into is shaped differently and the metal is also a different color (might not be important but still). The Manual transmission one matches on all accounts but it just bothers me that it says "Manual" transmission so consistently on all websites. I didn't even know the transmission had an influence on the EGR valve???

The orifice Hole in the valve may be a different size.. You can call BWD's tech line to check. It's a 718 number which should be 718 392 0200. They're pretty good. BTW Standard and BWD are the same company.
