Default US/Canadian Instrument Cluster interchangeability

Hello,

does anybody know, if i can swap my US spec instrument cluster with a Canadian spec instrument cluster (Z49 RPO) ?
Are there any differences between these clusters besides metric/imperial gauges ?
No specific reason for using the Canadian IC besides having one available nearby, so just checking to be sure, that it is usable in my car.

Thanks.

I have a Canadian 90 vert and I can switch back and forth between metric and imperial with a button on the dash. Maybe that's just on Canadian cars?

As far as I know, the only part of the early dash that is specific is the mechanical odometer. ( 1984-1989 )

I don't know about the newer dash (1990-1996 )

My car is a 1995 LT1 Automatic, the Canadian IC is from a 1996 LT1 Automatic.
Is the only difference the writings on the IC (Celsisu vs Fahrenheit and so on) ?

Correct, it is just the numbers on the overlay. There is nothing different.
