Finished the rotating assembly on my 383 stroker and I’m looking for help on what valve covers I can run. I compared the stock one with my current rocker set up and it looks like there’s no way it would be tall enough to clear and my guess is that “short” style SBC valve covers are about the same height. I was told that the “tall” valve covers will hit the windshield wiper cowl so what options do I have that will still clear my rockers and also not hit my windshield cowl or interfere anywhere else on the car? Btw I’m running comp. gold series 1.6 ratio rockers, AFR 195 heads with 7/16” studs.

I have a set of Canton 65-208 valve covers for sale that I took off my stock headed LT4 engine if you are interested.
But I honestly don't know if they will fit your combination. On my stock headed LT4 I had plenty of room for my Lunati 1.6 ratio rockers arms and polylocks. The covers just cleared the wiper motor and firewall. I did have to grind a small section of the housing on my alternator for clearance.
