Hey, would anyone here know the tunerpro mask ID# for a 1987 C4 corvette. I have been over to the site and not had anyluck figuring which one that I need. Is the c4 considered a Y body?? I believe the Firebird and Camaro are F bodys. Thanks, Gary
A technical question on this board? You gotta be kidding me.
Official answer: 0x32. Real answer: also 0x32 but described as $32B in modern nomenclature. It is a trick question and also a trick answer. Go figure. 87-88 share the same mask id byte with 86, but really a different mask altogether. Sloth, laziness, efficiency call it what you will. The 80s...
I almost forgot, Corvettes are y-body cars. Could've been worse (x-body).
My thermostat is cooler than yours...

Hey and Thanks for the reply, That is the one that I downloaded yesterday, I still haven't been able to get it up and running in tunerpro ... is there anything about getting it up and running? I have the $32B saved on my desk top and I have dragged and dropped it into Tuner Pro. I also became a member at $Code59.org and I am searching to see what is available there. Thanks again, Gary
What are you trying to do? Scan and record data, view edit a bin file? You need an (appropriate) bin file and xdf file for bin editing/tuning and an appropriate adx file for logging data. Also helps to have a copy of your original bin file, so be sure to save a copy once you've read the bin from the memcal.
