Belt squeal 94 LT1
I have restomodded a 94 LT1 into my Impala SS and I recently replaced the drive belt with a identical new belt. Now, when I turn on the AC, the belt squeals until the rpm's go above 1500 or so. The AC is still blowing cold. Is it possible the new belt is the cause (that's my feeling) ? I have a slightly shorter, OAL belt that I could put on and see if the squealing stops. FYI, never did this prior.
