Default EGR Ported Vacuum Source Location?

Looking for the source of EGR ported vacuum
1989 running like crap, intermittent engine miss during cruise. Gave a 23 trouble code. Tracing wires and hoses I found the vacuum hose broken/missing going to the EGR solenoid and cannot find where the ported vacuum comes from to operate the EGR.
If you can help me, cold ML awaits!

In your photo, there is a vacuum line Y splitter right underneath your pen, just at the corner of the valve cover near those wires wrapped in electrical tape. That splitter is what supplies the vacuum - it's a bear to fix because that broken part of line goes into the Y splitter and is bonded inside. Ask me how I know.

I fixed mine (which broke in the same place) by carefully removing the full vacuum harness that attaches to the EGR solenoid and EGR valve itself (that whole set of tubes is one part) and then carefully drilling out the broken off piece of hose in the Y splitter, then re-glued the broken piece into the splitter with RTV silicone.

Picture attached for clarity -

By the way, that is the 1988 diagram shown - but for the purposes of the EGR area it's the same in 1989.

1989 has a different setup for the Air Control Valve and Air Switching Valve vacuum lines, so ignore that part of the diagram.

Found it. No more engine missing and goodbye service engine light (for now anyway)
The plastic tubing snaps seemingly every time I touch it so I bought a 25' roll of 5/32" nylon tubing from McMaster-Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/5097T321
Thank you my friend! (:
