1989 Corvette Striker Bushing
Hello, My car is a 89 Corvette and my doors don't properly shut. I had a person that does body repair tell me this was because the doors were missing the Striker bushings, But when I search on-line I can not find anybody that sells Striker Bushings for this car. My questions are did this car originally had striker bushing when it was new? And if it did does any one knows where I can buy them at? Or are thier any striker bushing from another car that are compatible for the 89 corvette. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No bushing on striker. But above that is a locator pin with a bushing in it. Sounds like the door just needs to be adjusted, or your door hinges are worn making the door not align correctly anymore.

Thank you, I That is why I couldn't find anything on that. Now I know what direction to go.
