How do I drop the driver's side kick panel?

How do I drop the driver's side kick panel?
Can anyone advise? I want to drop the carpeted panel under the dashboard on the driver's side to gain access to the steering column. I see that there are two recessed bolts under there. Are there other fasteners that must be removed?

First we need to know which generation of C-4, square or round dash.
Early years (square) some hidden screws inside the carpet pile and two 1/2" bolts deep inside two holes in underside
Later years (Round)
I believe there are screws hidden inside the pile of carpet about 2" from the top running L to R, and there are 2 more on the side more center. 4 more underneath.
Once you have that out you still need to remove the aluminum crash plate but that is self explanatory bolts are visible
