Default 1996 lt4 hesitation slight when accelerating

HI,

1996 lt4 when i accelerate once in a while i feel like it misses or hesitates randomly at times its slight but i can feel it not hear it. I got it 8 months ago, i cleaned the maf flow and throttle body check out stuff no idea what it is and its so slight its just annoying no codes either i checked. Any thoughts what it could be?? No idea if wires and plugs have ever been replaced. ohh ye 90k miles.

2 months ago and the fuel pressure regulator seems fine, im think tune up this car wasnt maintained to well appears they just fixed stuff that broke but fluids all looked good so those to. But because i have to rebuild the whole front end as nothing had been done to it in 25 years 90k miles so im thinking they might be original plugs and wires the fuel filter looked like original lol

Mine had a bit of a stumble when I bought it. Plugs, wires, opti and fuel filter cured most of it. New O2 sensors cured the last of it.

Note: Opti was replaced due to water pump failure.

I got the same car Moon im thinking you are correct wires look old so guessing they might be original i was holding off opti because i have a slow front main seal leak and want to do it all when i go in opti water pump seal was hoping wires at that time but we will see. Thanks

Though i did order a TPS sensor just because it was 20 bucks lol and im thinking the O2 are wishy washy as well.

The good news is i have no codes did you have any codes?????

I have been working on allot the whole front end got rebuilt as in it all came out swing arms wheel bearing tie rods ball joints new brakes rotors tires shocks, all fluids literally all of them, just did the clutch and rear main just because new clutch hydraulics as well wanted to do rear end but it looks maybe engine stuff first it runs and drive ok and its a weekend car so no big deal. Just makes me smile when i drive it and the clutch will be broken in soon i have about 600 good shifting miles still afraid to dump it ad burn some rubber but soon very soon currently im taking it to 4k minor hard shifting but sooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnn
