First off, I'm a smooth brained (non-grease monkey) ape variant. I'm better at destroying things than fixing them, but I'm trying to learn, so there's that. car is a stock 78 pace car (L-82). I have noticed recently after light driving (45-60 mph for 30ish minutes) that I have a light amount of white smoke coming out of the engine bay in the back by the drivers side (when hood is raised). Didn't notice it at all when hood is closed. overall engine heat temp range while driving is 180-200ish. should I be concerned?
thanks in advance.

do you smell coolant ? is it a "vapor" smoke or a true smoke ? do you smell burnt oil ?
also a 78 is a C3. you inadvertently wandered into the C4 Corvette section. so you might want to also post over there, however, folks here will try and help also, for the most part C4 folks are pretty astute/friendly people

I stand corrected. I dared, Dared, to mention something that I thought was of interest. You better slink back to the C3 section before you get piled on.

I don't smell burnt oil, and coolant is a light enough smell that post covid I doubt i'd smell it. I'll ask the wife to take a sniff. and my apologies, I thought I had posted in the C3 section. I'll head over there for future conversation. thanks!
