Default Winterizing a C4.

I plan on putting my car away for about 6 months out of the year for the winter. Is there anything I should do before parking for the year? I've heard of problems with the fuel system about clogging while letting it sit for a few months. I'm fairly new to the corvette scene and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe the C4 is magical so I do it like any other car. Fill the tank if it is sitting in the cold, try to remove the battery or disconnect it and put it on a tender. Never had much use for any of the potions they sell that claim to do all kinds of magical stuff. I suppose you can put HEET in it if you are paranoid.

I park my vette every year from November to April since new. I fill the fuel tank and hook it up to a battery tender. Put a cover to keep the dust off and forget about it till the spring. Anything more is not necessary. I also do this with the boat and the Harley.

I've been hearing that owners before putting their cars in storage for winter filling the tank with ethanol free fuel . The goal being not to have the ethanol that's added to gas attract moisture that can lead to fuel system issues . The other issue is maintaining the battery , but a good tender takes care of that no problem .

If you fill the tank before you shut off, there should be very little space for moisture in the tank. Throw some HEET in if you like.

Fill the tank, add STA BIL. Put battery on automatic tender and say good night for the winter. People will tell you to start it occasionally, DONT! This will only create moisture.
when you wake it back up change all fluids and filters and go enjoy

If you start it, it has to warm up to evaporate all the moisture in the oil from the rich mixture and in the exhaust.

BAM. Listen to this guy....he "Gets it". Fill the thank, add a tender if you'd like, cover for dust (and kids' bikes protection). Done. Let bake for the winter, remove and enjoy next spring.
