Default removing exhaust - catalytic

Well, Im at step one of replacing my differential and already stuck so maybe I can get some advise. I dont see how Im going to separate the drivers side cat to drop the exhaust without buying a cutting torch. Im at a disadvantage as my right arm is partially paralyzed but I can tell from experience, with the limited access there is no way Im going to crack the top bolt nut on this. If I cut these bolts done I destroy the cat? Seems to me 2 of the three bolts is pressed into the cat flange itself.

Hope Im looking at this wrong. This is a 96. First photo shows bottom bolts.. those are semi accessible but even still.. I doubt I will break them free. The top one is really hard to get to.

I think this is the top bolt.. there is a nut to the right, cat on left.. bolt is pressed in I believe.

Disregard. After I wrote this I went straight out the garage and said to myself Im going to do this. I found the right socket, right wrench and right angle to push. Ended up using a 15mm long socket. Now for what I was told will not be easy, the other side is a slip on pipe before the converter.

You’ll get it! For the slip on pipe, once the drivers side is free, you can unbolt the rest of the exhaust hangers and use the the mufflers to wiggle/twist and it will come off. Support the exhaust at/around the resonator while you do it with something soft so you don’t dent or bend anything. I used a big chunk of foam on a jack to keep it level with the hangers unhooked.

Thanks.. that is kinda what I planned. Had to take a break and get up the energy for remaining.

Getting the differential out looks like a big project but I can do it a little at a time.
