does anyone have experience with an autoxray ez read 2000 automotive code reader
? - i have a 1985 and was looking into some of these and found one of these that is reasonably priced but i have never had one before to know if it will do much to help me diagnose anything
I have one I bought for $150 at least 12 years ago for wifey’s 1994 with OBD1. The 94 and 95 C4 have the OBD1 but come with the OBD2 connector…. So needed a second cord to fit the 94’s OBD2 connector. It is less than impressive. The manual has very little info on OBD1, but a lot for OBD2 that isn’t useful for the 94. Neither the manual or unit lists any codes or provides graphs.
I bought the 94 shop manuals off eBay for $60. New they are around $300.
The technology is old, but you can scan and monitor data. I wouldn’t pay very much if you buy it.
It's not a great tool for diagnostics. You can probably get a Snap on MT2500 on ebay that is a much better. user friendly tool, Guys are upgrading to the more sophisticated Snap on tool. so they're inclined to let their tool go for a song.
