SYS blinking on dash
I was driving home in my 91 when at a red light I noticed an SYS blinking where it would usually display my miles per gallon, I'm not sure of the exact timing as I've read different times mean different things but I recently did have a new CCM put into the car as the old one did not work anymore. Could this possibly be a result of this? I didn't notice any such light prior and I got the car back around 2 weeks ago, I also was informed about a parasitic battery drain on the car which has been there because I drive it daily so the alternator charges it but like stated previously I have never noticed this before. I'm pretty new to C4's so any help would be excellent!

"Typically" the sys light flashes when 1) an aftermarket audio system has been installed in the car or 2) There is an issue with the charging system (alternator and/or battery)

SYS light is the "ses" light for the CCM. CCM codes are likely set possibly because it's not programmed to your car. There is a cartridge for the Tech1 for programming CCM.
