Desmog in AZ
Looking to get rid of all air pump plumbing. Got the pump kit but want all hoses / lines gone. Trying to find procedure with materials ( fittings, cap sizes) and any problems. Thanks!!

If you insure the car in AZ as a classic auto with the insurance company will send the DMV a code saying that you do not require emissions ever again. At that point, you can do whatever you want to the motor and not worry about the "sniffer police" with the car. However, the down side is that you can not drive the car as a DD usually by insurance policy. I use American Modern insurance company, their rates are pretty good. As far as taking things off go, you should be ok. Your choice.

I am down in Chandler near Ray and McClintock. I was planning on removing all the smog equipment and clean the canister over by the AC compressor and all the tubing. So if I do all this and plug everything up you don’t believe I will throw any error codes?

Great you got good results.
First Saturday of the month, there is a cars and coffee at the mc Donalds at Indian Bend and 101.
theres a few C4’s there. Diverse crowd, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s,couple 32’s .
starts at 7, over at 11 , or whenever it gets too hot.
huge parking lot, maybe 100 cars.
also one in Anthem, on anthem way.
but that one has a small parking lot, and a few new Corvettes and a few japanese super cars.
A few mid 70’s cars and trucks.
