What's everyone running for toe-in; front & rear, on early (16" tire) cars these days? I want to use VBP specs but I don't know what 1/32" to 1/16" is in degrees. Thanks....
@MatthewMiller Would be the one to ask imo. IIRC he told me to set mine about zero which it is. Car drives fantastic. I'll see if I can find the alignment sheet to double check.
Sorry, been on vacation for a bit. I do recommend zero toe. However, I understand wanting to follow the factory alignment specs. I will defer to Incorvettei on the math of converting inches to degrees here!

Zero toe front and rear? I ask because I'm about to finalize my 88 (not stock).... I have the FSM and also VBPs sheet, but figured I'd ask you....I have a Tenhulzen alignment kit which seems to work good...thanks

If you're just street driving, you might want a very small bit of toe in for the rear, like 1/16". That would give a bit of stability.

Yep, total toe. Also, you could probably use -0.5 to -1.0 camber for just street use, front and rear. You don't need much. I'd have them dial in all the caster they can get in front, while maintaining the target camber setting. You're going to need to find a shop that isn't lazy and actually understands how to use the alignment shims on this old-school car!

My car has 120 miles on it now. Still running it through its sea trials to fix any gremlins, and get used to the car (plus I'd be the only vette there in primer lol)..... But I will look into that. Didnt think they did anything like that there. Thanks

a friend of mine said "growing up, the primered out cars were always the fastest because you know they put the money where it counted." Don't worry about primer. Glad you've got it running and enjoy. I've been following your posts quietly.
