Thank god for you tube. I watched the same video like 5x's about replacing the plastic gears in the headlight motors. Total job took less than 1hr. Both sides. For those who need to do this don't be afraid....... Saved me big $$$$ by doing it myself. Now on to the next project.
Can you give us to the link to the video that worked for you? It validates the video.
Yes please share!
Figured this is the perfect time to share what's going on with mine. My driver side light makes a clunking noise when you turn them off, even if it was only on parking lights too.
When you do turn the lights on, the light won't flip up all the way sometimes and will flutter. The SYS will flash on the digital dash.
the first vid I watched was by Chris fix. He has a c4 I believe is a 95 or 96. Then just kept watching a few more times just to get comfortable with doing the job myself. Next is the belt line rubber on drivers side door. Precision has a great vid on that install.
I paid 11.99 for six new pellets for my 91, first one took 35 minutes to repair, the second one went much faster.
Mirrock corvette has the best video out on fixing c4 headlights, and explains the difference between early and 90-96 gives the correct parts to use and fixes two units. It's very simple and easy to fix with basic hand tools. You may end up replacing one or two of the roll pins mine broke when removed, looks like my lights were fixed in the past. But pins are 25-50 Cents each at most hardware stores.

This is by far the most comprehensive video I've seen on doing the repair, reliably, inexpensively, and quickly. From one of the worlds experts on the 84-96 c4, owns a huge salvage yard of c4 only inventory.
