Starter Problem
Been having an issue on my 84 lately, when I put the key in and turn it the cluster doesn't turn on and the started doesn't click but the car has power interior lights and head lights work. Could this just be a bad starter? I wanted to ask before I bought the part and put it in just for nothing to happen.

Just to get what you said clearly, you put the key to run, interior lights are on but the cluster doesn't come on. then you go to crank and it won't crank all while the lights are still working?

Update: Its the wires going into the starter, had my dad turn the key when I moved the wires on the starter. Thanks for the help though guys!
