Default Ignition Disconnect LT1

I'm thinking about having a look at a 92 LT1 Auto for sale near by. It looks like a nice Car but its advertised as project car poor running bring a trailer and cash. Looks like he guessed that it needs new plug wires and bought them and when he realized how big of a job it is to replace the wires on these cars he lost interest probably let it sit for a couple of years and now put it up for sale. If I were to take a guess I would go right to the Opti Spark but I'm not one to guess I will go down the road of diagnostics if need be. So, to go have a look at the car I can't exactly take my lift and tools and do a correct determination of the problems. Its going to be 20 minutes of looking it over and I'm either going to buy it cheap if I think its an external engine problem, dirt cheap if I think its an internal engine problem, or run away. Normally on a SBC I would pull the Coil or HEI wire and crank the engine over and listen for a miss telling me its got internal engine problems like a cylinder with no compression. So what's a simple way to do this on an Opti Spark ?

If your just looking to disconnect the opti you could pull the coil wire. Coil is kind of hidden on the left front of the intake manifold. Youl see a single spark plug size wire going down to the opti.
