The best lesson I have ever learned is not to use Credit Cards. For years my exwife and I lived with credit cards. Buy this, pay it off later. Buy that, pay it off later. At some time in your life all of that will catch up to you and you will have to pay it all back or file bankruptcy. I don't suggest Bankruptcy for anyone unless there is no other way out because of a lesson I learned. My second wife and I were only married for 6 months, long story on this one, and she put my name on all of her accounts after we got married. Well I never bought anything or anything was bought while we where married on these accounts so while we were divorcing the credit companies. that she added my name too, started sending me bills. :eek: Now get this, we never bought anything while we were married on these accounts of hers, but they were legally considered mine for some reason. My lawyer suggested that I file bankruptcy on these accounts and reaffirm all of my accounts so that I would only pay on accounts that I had something to do with. To make a very long story short, it took years of working with creditors and banks just to be able to buy a new car, my vette, on credit. Like I explained to every crediter that I applied too, I paid all my accounts or accounts that I had responsiblity for and I paid them off.....But as long as you have bankruptcy on your record you will have a very hard time just trying to open an account some place else. So if you don't have too, don't do it... :yesnod:

 

I dont know about you but I made more money in 2002 than I ever made in my life. Somehow I spent it! Ive blown a ton for Christmas. My biggest financial drain is my daughter living in Hunington Beach. I pay all her expenses including the payments on her new Toyota and her near the beach apartment. Does anybody want to marry a beautiful 22 year old 5 foot Blond WELL BUILT Christian girl who doesnt smoke or drink?(just the kind your mom wants you to marry) :yesnod: Im requiring a large dowery to get back in the black
