door Panel and window help
I recently bought a 1994 coupe with 6 peed and 24,000 miles the problem is the guy i bought it from had problems with the windows and i think had the switch replaced now the passenger side window works nromally but the driver side switch is backwards i have to push up on the switch to get the window open and vice versa as well as now having auto up instead of down..... and the door panel is real loose anyone have a solution to the switch and possibly pictures of the locations of fasteners on the door panel thanks :confused:

if i remember correctly, there are the 5 fasterners at the bottom of the door, they are just push-in/pull-out studs, but be careful pulling, you don't want to strip them, and then there are 3 (i think) screws. i is in the door pull, i is behind the courtesy light, and one is behind the door handle. sorry i don't have any pics, but you shoudl be able to find them easily enough.

Thanks i found a couple screws but the panel still wont come off its loose though any help for the reverse operation of the window?
oh well at least it was nice enuf today to take the vette out for a rip..... :steering:

I have considerable experience removing the panels from my 89 coupe. Send me an email and I will walk you through how to do this. It takes about 15 minutes to remove the interior panel. I would estimate someone has crossed some wires on you window switch/wiring and this is causing your problems. Regards, Sam
