Flashing CEL while hot?
Hello, so my 1996 coupe has had an issue where in the morning everything is fine and will act normally but if I drive around to anywhere far enough to get the car up to temp and I park then come back (say at a gas station) when I turn the key to the run position the fans kick on high and the check engine light flashes and will stay that way untill I key off. The car will start but will idle high say 1200 rpm or so and runs rough. Could it be a bad coolant temp. Sensor? I have a new water pump, fresh coolant, thermostat, and radiator cap. If the car cools down after driving say 30mins or so it will act and start just fine again.
