Hello everyone!
I’ve really been enjoying my first Corvette that I bought in June! There are only 46,000 miles on her and is in EX shape!
The past couple of weeks I have noticed that the clutch has become spongy and not hard to depress, and today while trying to back out of the driveway I was unable to put it in reverse..or even in first gear!
I can depress the clutch pedal and put it in first gear while the engine is off, but it won’t go into gear while the engine is running...
Thoughts?!

It sounds as though your hydraulic system is low on fluid, and has sucked air into the system. Try refilling the clutch master cylinder, then pump the pedal vigorously as many times as your leg will tolerate. That often works the air back up and out of the system. Look for signs of leakage. Likely sources of leaks will be the slave cylinder, or the back end of the master cylinder which will likely have fluid leaking onto the carpet beneath the clutch pedal. Repair as necessary. Don't drive the car if the clutch isn't fully disengaging. Doing so will quickly damage the synchronizers in the gearbox.

Good luck with it.

Thank you so much! I have a neighbour that owns a shop, who also builds high performance cars, and has several Corvettes, coming over today to have a look!
Appreciate your reply!
Good morning everyone! The clutch issue was a leaky slave cylinder that was replaced, and things are working great again!
It was great to get her home yesterday and even drive to her rehearsal last night!
I appreciate everyone’s help and input-you are a great source of information, and thank you!
