Hello all, i was looking at my tires and even though they look new they're about 10 yrs old (came with the car) so while changing the tires i would like to get a better set of rims.
i do like the 5 spoke 17" but i was wondering what offset i would need if i was to upgrade to the 17x11 like the zr1 has, i've seen few pics of those and looks like they stick out and that's what i want to stay away from.
Any of you guys have done this on a 95 with success? I see there's a couple of different offsets for those and would be greatful if anyone could help out.
thanks!

You would need the +50 rear like the OEM Grandsport wheel.
Thank you, i appreciate the input but was wondering if anyone has done it and with some pictures given the fact the zr1 is wider than a standard coupe so if i was to use standard zr1 offsets in my mind the wheels would stick out at least 1.5" but i could be wrong.
just want to make sure before buying the rims.
thanks again
If you wanted 5-spoke (A-mold/ZR-1/whatever) for a base car doing the 9.5 wide X 4 makes much better sense! Tire options for the 11" wide are 'scarce'!
WVZR-1 is right: there aren't many tire choices left in 315/35/17 size. There are a few, but they aren't the best for street use. I would guess the Mickey Thompson Street Comp is most likely the best of them, but it's no match for the best street-oriented performance tires these days. If you're willing to step up to 18s, then 10-11" wheel widths give you options in 275/35, 285/35, and 295/35 sizes. For competition use, there are great 315/30/18 options, but these aren't realistic street tires for most.
All that said, if you're intent on 11s, then EVILOPTI is right about the offset. I had two sets of 17x11 and one set of 18x11 for my 96 (front and rear). Here's what they looked like with 315 tires.
Thank you very much for taking the time guys, i appreciate the help, i think will go with the A-mold, the offset was what i was more concern about since i've seen the same wheels sticking out over 1 inch and that is what i was trying to stay away from.
thank again guys!
