Default Taking out the digital gauge cluster

Do i need to unbolt all the things like how batee does it or can i just pull the steering wheel down and take it out? Would it be too difficult or is it possible?

Bunch of things have to be removed to get cluster out (sill, knee panels and such), but not difficult, just a bit of time. Go to Batee site and you'll find instructions on YouTube. Just take your time and be organized in how you keep track of all the screws.

yeah i saw his video on it and i gotta take apart the bottom cover and all that stuff, part of me just wants to remove the top part and wiggle it out lol but I'm willing to do the whole thing if it absolutely has to be done this way, I'll learn how the car is built at least and all that jazz if i do end up having to remove everything. I just want to know if its been done without removing all this stuff.

second question will a 96 dash cluster be plug and play with my 92? Theyre both from an LT1.
