I am pretty new to the Corvette world, but have caught the bug. I own a '91 red coupe with automatic. So far, low impact changes including Power Effects catback, K&N with open lid & chip. I have been reading the forum for several months and I appreciate the group intelligence out there. So, I would like some opinions on modifications I am considering.
1) Transgo shift kit (cost?)
2) ATI Procharger
3) Differential change (to what?)
I'll chime in on the gears...I went from 2:59's to 3:54's. The difference is undescribable!! :D You will absolutely love new gears!! Good luck, and welcome! :seeya
 you caught the bug. on the Transgo shift kit be careful and install it right. i'm thinking about doing the same mod and have been reading past threads on the subject. there have been a few people with problems. i guess there is on part you do not install on a vette tranny. also the CF gurus will ask the mileage on the car. and you might think of having the tirque converter upgraded as well.
for the procharger i recommend asking the guys in the c4 forced induction section. these guys have done it all.
as for the diff you have to aske yourself what exactly you want out of the car. high end low end is it your daily driver?
on your mods you have a chip listed what type?
you have the L98 engine: we have massive air restriction on the intake end. a lot of guys have gone to the miniram or super ram intakes but you can up grade the runners and port the intake as well. I'm trying the LT1 intake upgrade. well goodluck :seeya

Thanks for the feedback and additional sources. I have only 23k on the Vette and its in great shape...I will look further into the torque converter if I go in this direction. The chip I added is a Superchip. It added a little omph but its hard to tell if it has made a lot of difference. Thanks again.
