Default vacuum control valve

Can anyone help me identify this electro-valve? The previous ownes has disconnected the wire and it now sits winded up, I don’t know where the other cable was supposed to be plugged in to. Also the hose that points towards the driver side is choked with a plastic ball .
Thanks

What year is your car? That looks like a non-factory addition of a vacuum solenoid-controlled valve to me, but I don't know for sure....

I don't remember anything like that in past in U.S. cars

Default thanks

the purge evap solenoid looks like this:

I think I’ll just remove the other valve that has no role at this time and remove the T air connector

Default what about this module?

There is also this module I’ve highlighted with the green circle, which commands the black valve in the OP , any ideas what it does or at least is it a stock module?

OP - post a snapshot of the SPID label on the console door if it's present. It's possible that by 'identifying' the RPO(s) on the SPID it can be determined what you've got. The 'EXPORT' parts for most years wasn't included in most of the SPO Parts Catalogs. You very likely had Catalytic Converter Temp sensors and such that wouldn't be seen on domestic cars.

It's for sure an Export for Europe but there's no significant RPO that hints other than expected changes. European frequencies for radio etc. I have never seen a required changes for RPO MAE published year by year. I'm quite sure it exists somewhere. The chance that any of the components you've questioned are related I'd think SLIM or more likely NOT! If there's any information on any surface of any of the components post that!

The 'blue wrap' around that one harness is interesting. GM if it were a factory component would have a wrap similar to that with either a 4-digit code or other information. If there's info on that tag what is it?

Default many thanks

I’ll try to see what the blue wrap is.
The previous owner(s) did several mods on this car but I was only aware of 2 switches to turn on the radiator fans and an antenna switch. There are probably other things done to it.

the blue wrap is a scotch tape, there's nothing printed on it.

ps. I’ve found out details about this unit, apparently it is used to convert the car to Euro 2 emissions standard
here are some details about such unit:

I understand it connects to some wires on the car to access the lambda sensor and engine temperature.
it’s weird that one end of the valve goes to the manifold vacuum and the other is closed ?! So it was installed correctly except the vacuum hoses were broken and would probably cause a vacuum leak.

maybe it was installed on cars for EU market

I believe it should be much easier to research that component in 'your location'. GAT EuroKAT seems to be branding that some MAE part resellers promote and sell!!

****That explains the vacuum modifications made right side at the cannister purge!!
