$350 You might not want it after I chime in now about all the nonsense that I read after posting a simple request in the wrong section. My fault for that.
My opinion is you should burn those books you have.
I will not waste my time telling someone that their book is wrong. Does nothing but create hurt feelings.. Everyone has their sources they think knows more then anyone else..
On top of that when people chime in and give bad advice when they don't have a clue makes the search even harder.. Thank you for trying but you were totally incorrect with your suggestions.
Like I said the 1105678 is a 1 year build.
Anyone can search Corvette alternators and find that GM grouped 1987-1991 together.
If you think I don't know what I'm talking about well my car received a Top Flight award at the NCRS Lake Tahoe Regional in 2019 and a Top Flight at the NCRS Palm Springs Nationals 2021.
Thanks

On the face is the model #, amp, build date, and voltage. 1105585 build date April 1, 1985

Beautifully rebuilt, ready for judging. Get all 33 available NCRS judging points.

Electrical connection view.

Back side, Delco Remy.

Another face close up.

Original car it came out of before the rebuild.
Sorry about the grief you are getting here. There has always been a hardcore arrogance here with some members, and it seems to be getting worse as time marches on.
I just checked my pile, and I don’t have one. I’l, reach out to a few of my contacts to help your search.

ihatebarkingdogs, this is the 86 from that corvette find from the 1989 VH-1 sweepstakes. It sat for 25 years and I won it in from thelostcorvettes.com. I will check for that blue label but I don't recall seeing it.

The 1986 alternator is a 1 year part.
The Delco Remy 1986 alternator part number 1105678 and date code are "dot matrix" stamped on the side. I'm not so concerned with the date since beggars should not be choosy. My car vin #4507 is an early build. Built on August 22nd 1985. The alternator and the Delco Freedom battery catalog no. 732 with 630 cold cranking amps are the only 2 parts that my all original 21k mile 86 Corvette are without.
If someone is in need of an 1985 Delco Remy Alternator 1105585 build date 4015, April 1st 1985, April fools day. It has already been rebuilt and restored ready for any NCRS or Bloomington judging let me know. I purchased the alternator with the hopes of using it and taking a little hit on the points. Not compatible with the 86.
Could your search be over
