If you're using Roller Rockers, did you remove the drip tabs? When I test fit mine, they wouldn't go down all the way because the drip tabs were hitting the rockers.
I do not think mine have any ground off(I could be mistaken) If you go too far with yours or can't get them to work out, I know mine will. . . I'll cut you a great deal :) (Only if necessary)
They will fit you just have to coax them a bit. I didn't have to grind any, but did just to make it a bit easier. They always require a slight smack to get them past that tight point. Once past they move freely.
O.kay, I got the drivers side on but I may have screwed up my assembly sequence. I can't get the #7 injector connecter on its' injector. Was I supposed to wire up my injectors before putting the runners and plenum on.
If so how do you get the valve cover on with all the injectors plugged in?
Unplug #5 and then stick a screwdriver in their and twist #7 so that the plug is kind of facing towards #5. It isn't easy, but can be done! :yesnod: Once you have it on twist the injector straight again and put #5 back on. :)
Oh and you just have to kind of pull up on the wiring harness to slip the cover in under it.
Yep, It is an edelbrock base. However, "Mitch" whom I bought the base, runners and plenum from, had no valve cover clearance issues when it was on his L98.
Jesse, I just plain read that wrong-my bad
Vic, you can't rush an artist :D
Here is the latest pic(makes a good mini work bench too) I didn't work on it today and probably wont tomorrow either.
