Default J55 Rotor Question

What brand are these???

Here are pics of the rotors, new:

Closeup of original part number

These appear to be GM original rotors that are reprocessed by another vendor (spot drilled and plated). See the GM part number on the rotor..

Tom, I think there are very few places that actually cast rotors I believe most of the aftermarket rotors are from the same casting - company at least.

The GM ones may meet a certain standard, the others I don't know.

They certainly could be, as they look exactly like GTRotors. Anyone have these and can verify they have the normal J55 part number on the backs?

Tom, don't know for sure, but they do look like OE's. I think that The Budd Company casts most of the J55's among others for GM. I bought some Bendix rotors a few years ago, and they were the same as the OE P/N's. Not unlike the New Departure Hyatt wheel bearings being packaged under a number of different labels.

That is definitely the right GM part number. J55 rotors, in fact I believe those are the GS/CE rotors, left hand side LH-10052203, right hand side RH-10052204. They should also have GM cast into the inside hub across from the part number.
