Default Best Method To Install New Auto Transmission Lines?

Hi, I have a 84 with an automatic. One of my transmission lines sprung a hole....I want to replace the whole line so, what's a good way to remove the trans lines on side of the transmission? LOL...they're up there with little room for activities! Anyone do this before? Any advice is appreciated! The picture below shows glue or something to fix a leak on a transmission line!!?? Whoever owned this car before me was a complete dipsh*t!!! Who does this??

I replaced my line with nickel copper transmission line. could fix with hose and clamps for temp fix. its not high pressure.

I repaired it with a hose from a new transcooler i had laying around. it's solid so, good for now but, I'm guessing I have to lower/tilt transmission in order to gain access to the 2 lines on the side of the transmission.... shucks! Doesn't look like fun! lol

the connector at transmission are hard to loosen without destroying the line. I was replacing my lines anyways . the tubing wants to turn with the nut. I soaked it with penetrating oil . one came loose and they other didn't. I used a flaring tool and purchased nuts . pita
