Default C4 Rack and Pinion fitting question

Hello, does anyone know what the thread pitch is for the hard lines that attach to the top of the rack and pinion unit? I am using a C4 front suspension in a project car that I built a couple years ago. I did have to re-clock the rack sleeve rearward for line clearance, but on the line that attaches to the center position of the rack, I had to try to make a line with a very sharp bend right out of the rack. I’ve consistently had a small leak here, and recently the leak has turned into a major leak. I’m going to try to adapt some type of 90* fitting to the rack, but can’t find any info on what the thread pitch is. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Your issue is the female nut and tubing to the rack? Would Turn-one pass on just info? No idea but if you've pitch measuring tools you should be able to accomplish the task yourself!! Maybe someone that has a steering rack 'CORE' could remove and measure if yours is a tough reach.

Turn-one does offer the lines separately but display in 'pairs'. Would they help you? $$$ most folks will do anything!

Yes, female nut onto the rack. I just tried threading the nut onto some various bolts I have in the shop, and the bolt it fits best is a 1/2-20. I found the bolt, threaded the nut on it, and then ran a die on the bolt to check the pitch. I assume it’s metric, though, and the 1/2-20 is just close enough.

Yes, a pitch gauge would work, but there’s no way I can get one in there. It’s TIGHT where the fitting is, hence the need for a 90 fitting.

And I have looked at the Turn One lines. I’d gladly pay the $50 for the line, but the line just wouldn’t fit the way I need it to. The upright section coming out of the nut is just too tall for my application. I’d probably end up ruining the line trying to bend it, just like I did mine! LOL

It ain't 1/2-20! If you've NOT destroyed the NUT take it to a hydraulic shop for some advice. That NUT might be a specialty item also because the tubing has an unusual flare I believe.

This link has a 'Photobucket' locked image and I couldn't save but this is the flare I'd expect so a 90° adapter as you mention ain't gonna be an easy find. You might ask Turn One how 'tight' a 90° they can do and accomplish a seal. Have them send you a length with that end and have a local shop do the Saginaw on the other end. That should be doable. Post an image of the internal dimensions of the nut you've got in your hand!
