What would cost more get some good used heads and put them on with the new Lifters or just have mine repaired? HELP!!!! Performance has gone down the TUBES!!!!

Well if you have just a collapsed lifter then you could just replace it. If something because of it caused damage to something else, then its another story. :)
As long as you don't have a Super Ram, replacing the lifters is not that difficult. I just went through that when the number 8 area lifter was clicking away like a slot machine giving change. HT2148 are the one's I replace my OEM 108,000 mile one's with.
Take the old one's out, coat the new one's with some assy lube,re-install, prime the motor, re-assemble the motor and you ought to be good to go(did that sound too easy? :D )
Keep us posted. I have pics of this process if you like, e mail me.
Re: Lifter Collapsed, Need heads or something (C4Dreams)
Like everyone else has said, just put in a new set of lifters. They run about $240 for the set for the hydrualic rollers (for an LT1 at least). I have changed mine in about 4-5 hours. Worst part is cleaning on the intake surface to put the intake back on with a new gasket.
Re: Lifter Collapsed, Need heads or something (C4Dreams)
its an L98....Should i just have the heads reworked? Or just new lifters etc put in....f

You do not HAVE to have your heads reworked, you do not even have to pull the heads to swap the lifters. Now, if you WANT to have some work done to the heads, that is your choice.
