Bose Gold amplifier
I have one front and one rear that are not working and i don't find the issue. I Already replace all capacitors. 1990 zr1
Thanks in advance
So I popped the speakers and tested with a crappie speaker I had in garage and it worked, turns out the magnets were rusted to the cones and the speakers where junk and needed replacement

There are companies who might be able to make the Bose system work again for you but in my case I use the C4 for daily adventures and wanted a newer radio in the C4. The radio I installed has the ability to connect via Bluetooth and allows hands free telephone calls.
I did not run any new wires. I took the schematic and made a harness that used the wires that supplied the Bose Unit before. Each speaker has four wires going to it, 2 for 12 Vdc power and 2 for the music signal. Once you get the colors of the wires correct it was a fairly easy job. I replaced the speakers with quality units and now the car sounds great with 40 watts going to each speaker. Seems kind of pointless to put a good stereo in an "inverted fishbowl"....
I would ask someone at Crutchfield's which is a big stereo company here in Virginia. They would be able to tell you if the single channel amplifiers will work or not. The only single channel amplifiers that I am familiar with are for the bass signal to make it rumble. I have used two channel amplifiers to boost a stereo signal.

I'd also consider posting in the 'Audio/Electronics' section. In the general/performance C4 section you'll see results similar to what has been posted.
An 'advanced search' using 'Nissan' and 'Mike100' should get you maybe close to 22 + threads that might be interesting reads.
Start you search from here:

If this link 'sticks' it would get you there. I doubt it will 'stick'
