I am an old school street racer and have always believed in gear ratio...that being said, how many & how difficult is it to change the rear gears?? Power always is complimented with this, what do you guys think????

I have 3.54's in my 86. I should of went with 3.73's. I good free flow exhaust and gears is the best upgrade I have done. It is the most noticeable, feels like a different car. I have done much more since but; light to light its all you need.

If you have done diffential work before it's matter of dealing with the loose housing. Having or making a fixture hold housing would be helpful. If you have no experience YouTube videos and acquiring necessary tools.Originally Dana 36 and 44 used shims for pinion bearing preload. Aftermarket gears may use crush sleeve.
