trouble codes when using 2151 headers

Default trouble codes when using 2151 headers

when using the 2151 headers will it leave trouble codes because of the eliminated air pipes? is their a way around the codes? should i just use the 2149 headers? :confused:

The only one I can really think of right now would be the EGR system, but that can be turned of easily in your computer chip.

You can easily turn off the AIR and EGR diagnostics in the computer. Then you set the EGR enable temp to something like 300 degrees C. and you'll be good to go.

With this you can remove both systems from the car entirely and it really cleans up the engine compartment.

i live in md and they are really getting tight on emmissions equip. i really would like to keep the air tube in stock location if possible. would tpis headers be my only choice? the 2149 hookers are not right for our cars and have air tubes welded in place and would not at all work on my setup. any suggestions on the setup??? thanks!! :confused:
