Oil Cooler problem fixed
While my C4 is up on blocks for the winter, I decided to do an oil change. When I had the oil drained and filter removed, I did a general look around and found a few small problems, like the knock sensor wire had fallen off. The oil cooler had become loose on the center pipe mount, and while it wasn't leaking yet, the amount of play and wobble of it was surprising. So, when you're changing your oil, grab onto the two water hoses going to that oil cooler body and give it a shake. It should not move at all. It was a simply fix to tighten the nut on the center threaded pipe. It could have been a disaster if I didn't catch it!
