I was putzing around on the car today so I pulled the lenses for the hood lites and cleaned them. Since the hood is open a lot while I clean and repair things I was looking for the switch so I could disable them. Well I can’t find it🙁. I don’t have my FSM yet so figured one of you experts could send me in the proper direction a lot faster then if I try to follow the wire loom.
As always thanks for the help.

In each front bumper wells by the marker lights there are plugs with two wires they are the power supply, the actual switch is a Mercury pellet in each light fixture.
. There is also a fuse for each side in a rain cover in by the corner lights

Thanks👍 I kind thought it might be a mercury switch. I’ve worked around a lot of those over the years. It just seemed overkill instead of using door type switch.
Thanks for the quick reply👊👊
If you switch to LED light bulbs you wont hardly pull any juice with the hood open for hours. Plus they are way brighter and they don't get hot. I got mine at Autozone.

Thanks I’ll give it a shot. I cleaned the lenses so they look new but the LED would be an added plus👍
I replaced with LEDs when I cleaned my lenses since I like to do car shows. They are brighter and I can leave my hood open all day and almost no drain on my battery.
