Non-starting problem
Hi, new to these forums, but it looks like C4's having starting problems for one reason or another seems to be a going thing...and my 93 is not. Quick run down (hang with me). Pulled the car out to wash it, it started fine went to start it a little while later and .... mothing.... had to push it back in...Anyway, my first thought neutral switch, found another one, of course that wasn't it, replaced the starter interrupt relay, no go, OK... crawled under it pulled the starter, it checked out. OK, only have one nearly 40 year old key went and had a new #10 made, nothing. Been seeing a lot about the VATS on these cars (and yes the security system does work), the security light goes off when the key is turned on and everything comes to life (all lights, turn signals dash, fuel pump, etc.) I have a VATS by-pass coming, but if that isn't it anyone have an idea where to look. This thing has been garage art since almost the time I've had it. It is a 40th Anniversary edition and for time being it's name is Blivit(LOL!!!)
