Does anyone have a new/used supercharger they'd like to get rid of?? I have an 89 L98 TPI and i want a blower:)

soundkillr-thanks for the reply, i have no idea how to IM you back or whatever. Right at this MOMENT, i DO not have the money for a fancy kit like that. I was hoping someone had a kit that was more basic... B/c polishing kicks butt, but.....eeek expensive. I got some prices on NEW ATI's for about 3,300 for the kit. So when i posted i was only thinking about spending lil over 2G's. .....think i might have to wait a little bit longer here. thanks again.

Wow 3300 for a NEW ATI kit?? You sur eit's for a TPI vette, not a camaro kit?

yea, they actually mailed me the "VETTE" propaganda. TPI 10PSI IC. at the most i think they were was 3,500. but no more than that, i know i've seen some for 3,300ish. and the 10PSI included the IC. Hey, rememberr me and you talked about the AFC's.... WELL WELL buddy!! got some info. ok, a AFC is NOT car specific. MAF system...and use PIN read outs from the ECM and piggy back them or what not. I heard theres a better AFC than the popular ApeXi. Honestly....i think that thing is fine for us. I wana rip out my ugly butt "CORVETTE" head bumper on the passenger side..... and get that flat plate in MA or make a custom one. and put the AFC built in it. (i was thinking about mounting my CB in it too, but......well...n/m...lol) So, yea, get a ApeXi AFC....Univ. model i guess or what ever....and just bust out the GM>>>>GM shop manual and go to town. get those piggy back connectors.... 99.99% it's gonna work. TUnning is gonna be tricky though, might have to talk to the DSM guys. (eclipse turbo guys) ..ie my roomate and buddies.:) but i'm holding off on doing it right now b/c i'm in the process of finishing my turbo supra, and putting blk new interior in my vette...so money has to go far. Screw the piggy back Japaneese Band Aids, learn how to program the GM ECM's they aren't that hard witha little know how and are cheaper in the long run. You will be better off and it will have better drivability. Check the tuning section of the c4 forum.

BTW I used to have a 85 Supra with a 6m motor (I was one of the first guy on the internet group to do one), I always wanted to attempt to turbo it with the 7M manifold but someone made me a good offer on my Supra, so I sold it.
