Smoke from headers after install

Finally finished up the head gaskets on my ‘94 and noticed colorless smoke coming from the headers. I ran the car for about 10 minutes and the smoke didn’t stop. Anyone ever experience this?

Look for drips. If something is leaking it's probably leaking enough to drip. A glob of grease that was accidentally dropped onto a header will smoke for days.

Brand new out of the box Headers, probably paint/rust protection oil. Of course look for problems to verify but you may need to heat up let cool down burn off.

Could be oil and grease that transferred from your hands to the headers while you were moving them around.
