Burned CDSs won’t play

My burned CDs won’t play in my factory Bose Gold stereo. How do I make burned CDs that will play in my 1995 C4

You need to burn the CD in CD Audio format. The older players will not read compressed files like mp3 or WMA.

Old CD players often can't read burned CD's. Think it has something to do with the reflectivity of the disk. There may be some brands of burnable CD's that work.

Disclaimer: this info is coming from a very old and obsolete memory...

It has nothing to do with the reflectivity of the disk. It is only related to the format that the system can read. What is so hard to understand?

It's not worth arguing about on the Internet. But I was there 3000 years ago working in IT when CR-r's first hit the scene... Some CD players can't read them audio format or not.

As said in another thread going now. There are things you can try.
A different brand disk
burn slowest possible setting
don't fill the disk all the way. Try 75%

Or try and burn it in the CD AUDIO format. Then it works no matter how full the disk is. It cannot read any other format.
You can come up with any other excuse, but like I said, why is that so hard to understand?
