With so many products out there for cleaning wheels what have you found works best for cleaning your wheels? I have a 95 with the original saw blades. Also, if you have used a product you want to warn not to use, I'm open to that info.
I'm sure there are many good ones. Two I particularly like are Poorboy's world and Griot's. Griot's had the advantage of being widely available at AutoZone and similar. Both mentioned are easy to use and good for removing accumulated brake dust.
I've always used simple green on my 95. Spray it on let set for 30 seconds. Wipe all the dirt and brake dust off with a micro fiber cloth and then rinse really well with the hose.
IMO hands down the best wheel cleaner for neglected and regularly maintained wheels is Meguire's Ultimate Wheel Cleaner. It has a strong iron remover that breaks up brake dust and other metal contaminants on your wheels and paint. Great for getting the backs of the wheels super clean again.
I use it all over the car when I'm doing a complete detail before I clay and buff. It made my white C4 paint come back to life after years of sitting outside in the elements. Way cheaper than the Iron removers some of the detail companies are selling.
