hey yall, you might have seen my many cries for help on this forum over the last year, and once again I'm back with yet another question. I have a 1990 base model c4 carb swapped with a Holley 600 with vacuum secondaries. my throttle cable is currentle held on by zip ies and is way too long so I have to tuck the extra cable behind the motor with the wire harness. Does anyone know if I can replace the cable entirely with a shorter aftermarket one (is that even a thing?) or at least know of a way to attach the stock cable end to a carb throttle bracket?

This is mine. Cheap throttle cable bracket from Summit. Stock 88 throttle cable.....works fine. Its a Holley, but same principle....you have to drill out the end of the cable slightly to 1/4" i believe it was..
